Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) Inspector (FN) The ESH Inspector will be the Inspector for all ESH compliance at his/her assigned location in Iraq. This professional will report directly to the Senior Supervisor and indirectly to the Country QC/ESH Manager. Functional independence ensures immediate resolution if discrepancies in specifications, craftsmanship, job-site safety or health problems cannot be resolved satisfactorily at the project level. The ESH Inspector has the following primary responsibilities: - Maintain a site Weekly Activity Report, - Field implementation of the PAE Safety Plan, - Revise Safety Plan and support programs as needed, - Maintain site document control, - Review and approve project submittals for higher echelon approval, - Collect and analyze performance data to determine impressionable trends, - Generate professional reports to communicate ESH performance at daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual frequency, - Conduct Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and other ESH related Risk Management Techniques to ensure loss and cost control, - Submit the ESH Monthly Performance Report to higher echelon, - May lead facility condition assessments and/or routine component ESH inspections, - Track ESH corrective action(s) “cradle to grave”, - Facilitates post ESH training in support of educating the public on Environmental, Safety and Health initiatives, - Develops programs to promote high quality services; develops programs to ensure work is performed in accordance with federal, state, and local OSH standards, - Promulgates PAE Company Policies and Procedures at field level - Performs other duties as assigned.
- Experience Requirements: - 2 years combined ESH Experience - 1 year tenure on a Department of State Project of similar size and similar scope - OSHA 30 Hour Course General Industry and/or Construction - 40 Hour HAZWOPER+ 8 hour annual refresher - A Professional License may be considered as “meeting experience requirements listed above” Additional Requirements: - Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. - Security Vetting: Must obtain a favorable Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) as required for the contract and maintain for the duration of the contract. - Language Skills: Strong professional English communication skills – oral and written. - Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required for this position. - Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination. - Must be able to multitask and operate as ESH Supervisor in the absence of the ESH Supervisor - Favorable passage of a physical fitness test - Driver’s License: Driver’s License from Home of Record (HOR); PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
