Quality Assurance Officer II

This is a contingent position.

PAE is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Officer based in Charlottesville, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Works independently to verify that laboratory operations are completed in accordance with Government customer specified standard operating procedures and processes

  • Verifies that analytic reports are technically sound and follow prescribed formatting guidelines

  • Verifies that data produced undergoes sufficient technical review

  • Lead and perform internal audits of forensic labs

  • Familiar with internal and external laboratory audits (e.g., ASCLD/LAB- ISO or similar accreditation)

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree OR a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of directly relatable experience in the discipline

  • 5 years of experience working in the Intelligence Community (IC) environment

  • Currently have an active DoD Secret security clearance

  • U.S. citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading or supporting internal and external audits within accredited forensic laboratories

  • Deployment experience in an analytical/operational environment
