Marketing Manager (Kuwait)
PAE is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in Kuwait supporting Morale, Welfare, and Recreational (MWR) services for our U.S. government customer. The Marketing Manager shall provide appropriate marketing/publicity material for programs and events occurring on the customer site.
Develop professional industry standard marketing material to inform the base populace of upcoming Force Support events with no more than two (2) complaints per month.
Provide marketing material for upcoming Force Support events on time.
Provide 48 hour turnaround time on normal marketing material and products, and meet short notice turn-around times as short as one hour.
Develop and submit a 90-day look ahead activity calendar for approval by the Community Services Flight Chief, during bi-weekly marketing meetings.
Help host all special events and arrange entertainers' lodging and meals that include but are not limited to live bands, USO shows, Armed Forces Entertainment, etc.
Request information from Force Support activities to develop flyers, weekly and monthly calendars, brochures, posters, e-mails, Right Start briefing information (to include possibility of briefing material) and web pages at least 30 calendar days in advance.
Print flyers, daily, weekly and monthly calendars, brochures and posters as required.
Provide updates for the web pages and post them to the Force Support Web page
Print and laminate as required the following items: signs, punch cards, gift cards, library cards and other items IAW mission requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Minimum of two years’ experience developing graphics, be familiar with web based applications, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft applications and/or comparable software and be able to utilize email to maximize marketing and publicity/advertising the EFSS programs to the base community.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment - temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere and extreme environment.
Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including but not limited to heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time; and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
Must successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by PAE and our customer for deployment. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
Must possess satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health and security measures.
