Real Property Planner

Job Description

PAE is seeking a Real Property Planner to support a program providing Civil Engineering support services to our U.S. Government customer in Kuwait.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide management, planning, development, organizational, administrative, and coordination services for all base real property and community planning services

  • Develop project plans for each program and identify short and long term goals and objectives for customer approval

  • Incorporate all federal, military, host nation, and local regulatory requirements into program design, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Manage all space utilization requests and issues; document use of all land, space in buildings, and other facilities.

  • Conduct extensive space utilization surveys and analyze all space requirements for compatibility and conformance with allowable criteria; recommend changes and advise leadership on appropriate actions.

  • Manage all real property and accountability records; review and update installation real property accountability records

  • Ensure all real property accountability records, reviews, and updates are auditable with no more than two (2) inaccurate records found per month

  • Assist in managing the acquisition of new real property; assist in determining the properties to be acquired in order to satisfy requirements for specific projects/tasks and the nature of the acquisitions

  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship; a valid U.S. or local driver’s license and U.S. passport

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

  • Education: High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant discipline

  • Experience: Must have USAF Real Property experience and an understanding of ACES-RP software.

  • Provide WGT 424 certificate of completion of equivalent

  • Provide Combating Terrorism (CBT) training before assuming duties

  • Certify currently published AFI’s for Real Property programs have been read and understood

  • Experience providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules

  • Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team

Working and Living Conditions

  • This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 12 hours per day. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
