Provides nondestructive testing for determination of compliance to documented requirements. Must follow determined quality assurance requirements and documented work instructions or perform work per industry standards. Documents condition of material, accuracy of documentation and handling acceptance and rejection of material.

Assignments will likely include oversight and performance reporting on verification and/or testing activities and machine shop, fabrication and weld shop outputs. Verifies that work is performed consistent with NASA standards, processes, procedures, and tools as necessary. Report to management on performance to goals and requirements.

Works to inspection plans, conducts and coordinates

inspection/evaluati on activities . Participates in and supports development, documenting, testing, and verifying product. Verifies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout production and testing activities . As part of the team, applies knowledge of inspection methodologies and information gathered from processes and outputs. The successful candidate would work to correct errors, prepare inspection instructions, compile documentation of results, and analyze manufacturing and test outputs. Verifies that manufacturing and test standards are met.

Public Trust

High School education required, Technical School or College education preferred from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
