PAE is seeking an Electrician to support an enterprise Facilities Support services contract in Northwest Florida. The Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. The Electrician must demonstrate and apply highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to manage several tasks in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tasking’s under high pressure situations.
Essential Job Duties
Installs, maintains, or repairs equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy
Installs or repairs any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment
Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Able to maintain an active Top Secret SCI security clearance
Four years or more experience as electrician preferable facilities management
High School diploma or equivalent and seven years of related experience and advanced certification in assigned area required - consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment. Master electrician certification desired
Knowledge of applicable stateside codes, international codes and acceptable trade practices
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change
Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information
