Supervisory Supply Technician

  • Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, etc.) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

  • Work is usually divided by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.

  • Supervises work performed by Warehousemen, Laborers, and Inventory and Supply Clerks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance to include an extensive background investigation.

  • Must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, workmethods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

  • Must have an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and analytical ability to define or recognize problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish facts, and to take or recommend action.

  • Needs to operate and perform adjustments and minor repairs on a wide assortment of printing and binding equipment.

  • Occasionally move equipment up to 50 lbs.

  • Constantly operators a computer and other office productivity machinery.

  • Good writing skills

  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills

  • Ability to work independently
