PAE is seeking a Contracts Administrator for the Arlington, VA, Fort Worth, TX, or Greenville, SC location. The Contracts Administrator’s primary responsibilities will consist of providing contract management activities and supporting business development opportunities for the Readiness and Sustainment business line. The selected candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic and high-energy environment and be capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with demanding schedules. Short-term domestic travel is expected up to 20%.
Primary responsibilities include:
Cradle to grave support handling multiple bid opportunities, proposal work, negotiations, contract award and administration of the resultant contracts.
Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
Analyze and interpret federal government regulations including GSAR, FAR, DFARS and other agency supplements and applies knowledge to perform risk analysis for new and ongoing opportunities.
Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal and terms and conditions.
Serve as point of contact for customers both internal and external for contractual matters
Ensure compliance with PAE company policies and procedure.
Review and negotiate terms and conditions of different types of contractual agreements (nondisclosure, teaming and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Maintaining proposal and contract documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Supporting data collection and reporting for contract proposal support activities.
Performing other duties and special projects as required.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related discipline coupled with 3-4 years contract administration experience;
A minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting prime contracts with the Department of Defense or Department of State;
Expertise in FAR and DFARS.
Experience with varying contract types: fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, time and material and incentive type contracts is required.
Well-developed communication skills with ability to interface with multiple levels of operations personnel, functional staff and senior management.
