Junior Graphic Designer

PAE is currently seeking an entry-level graphic designer with marketing experience to support PAE’s Corporate Marketing & Communications team. This position represents a key team-player role, supporting the communications needs of MARCOM and our business units. The ideal candidate has two years of graphic design experience (digital and print), and email/website design. The individual will be responsible for executing branding buildouts and the applicable print/digital collateral projects require. Typical client design needs include but are not limited to: brochures, conference signage, social media graphics, one-pagers, invitations, event programs, newsletters, mockups, proposals, presentations and print ads.

A primary focus of the position will be graphic design work in support of corporate branding, with a secondary focus on promoting PAE visually through social media. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a culture strongly rooted in the federal government and with technically oriented business and program leaders. The position will report to the MARCOM Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Two years of relevant experience in graphic design or marketing

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs

  • Demonstrated ability to produce and deliver professional-quality products to include but not limited to infographics, charts, website graphics

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Proven ability to translate complex material into an engaging visual piece, easily understood by a general audience

  • Social media savvy and strong website graphics experience

  • Experience developing professional presentations.

  • High level of energy, commitment and passion to achieve results; and the ability to work within and meet urgent deadlines and establish priorities

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work without continuous management oversight

  • Demonstrated ability to participate and add value to teams

Highly Desirable Qualities:

  • Project management skills

  • Familiarity of Associated Press style guide

  • Experience working within or familiarity with government services organizations

Educational Requirements:

  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Communications, or related field (or equivalent graphic design experience)
