PAE has an opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager to join our team at our Ashburn, VA office. As the Deputy Program Manager, you will work hand in hand with the Vice President and Program Manager in overseeing operations of a large contract within our Business Process Outsourcing sector of our National Security Solutions business sector.
Under this contract, PAE supports a Federal Government client in their mission providing visa services. Through this program, with over 1000 PAE and subcontractor employees at 2 sites, we provide records management, adjudication support and operate customer call centers, answering 150,000 calls per month. We support file operations and maintenance, biometric research and screening, including facial recognition checks. Annually, we process over three million pieces of mail, over two million files and over 31 million facial recognition reviews.
We are looking for a collaborative, upcoming leader who knows how to work across entities and functional areas, who has a successful record of developing an understanding of how the business works, building a great reputation, and assessing business problems and bringing solutions to the table.
As the Deputy Program Manager, you will have a range of responsibilities, which will include but won’t be limited to:
Supporting the Program Manager in ensuring the effective management and delivery of services
Developing and executing plans to consistently meet contract performance expectations and financial targets
Identifying opportunities and developing strategies towards contract growth
Ensuring that budget, schedule, and quality metrics are proactively monitored and achieved
Managing project planning activities including coordination, development, and presentation of management and client reviews for performance metrics including quality, schedule, and financial reviews
Defining the scope, cost, schedule and performance parameters necessary to successfully execute projects / respond to customer requests for proposal
Managing internal protocol compliance for invoicing
In order to be successful in this role, we expect that qualified candidates will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and ideally a minimum of 7 years of experience, 2 of those in a program/project management role. Advanced business degrees may be considered in lieu of some work experience.
Overall experience that is directly applicable and reasonably equitable in building to the responsibilities as described within this description
Strong understanding of FAR regulations and Federal Government procurement processes
Experience in services delivery to include: staffing, time accounting, contract management, reporting, customer relations, risk management, project execution and deliverables, and business growth
Experience in financial planning, strategy, and management of finances using complex reporting mechanisms
Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Experience developing strategic plans to meet customer mission requirements
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience developing and delivering senior level briefs and presentations
Experience with business development, capture, and proposal development
Must successfully complete a comprehensive 7-year criminal and credit history background check
Must successfully complete a drug screening
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
