Logistics Manager

PAE is seeking Logistics Manager for a deployed overseas location. The duties of the position will be to assess the state of an existing logistics infrastructure, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements related to logistics and supply chain management areas, as well as teaching and mentoring junior logistics personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal process improvement training, formal defined as either college level course with process improvement or commercially available in-class training course focused specifically on process improvement

  • Minimum two years’ experience in business process engineering (BPE) or business process improvement

  • Basic program or project management, financial management, resource planning, and performance management experience

  • All key personnel assigned to this contract must have demonstrated verifiable experience providing strategic direction

  • All key personnel assigned to this contract must have demonstrated verifiable experience at assessing an organization from a people, process, technology, and cost perspective

  • Strong knowledge and/or understanding of the various logistics concepts to include acquisition, asset management, purchasing, resource utilization, transportation, and supply chain management

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a leadership role to include the training and/or mentoring experience

  • Requires TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma (Black Belt) Certification

  • Completion of Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials course
