Recruiter

PAE is currently seeking a Recruiter to support new business and proposal recruiting efforts across PAE’s National Security Solutions (NSS) Business Unit with a specific focus on the Mission Support area. This position is responsible for posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing talent for key positions and other openings pursuant to proposal efforts within NSS. In addition to recruiting tasks, this individual will work closely with capture managers, operational leadership and other functional staff in our Mission Support business area to understand requirements and develop sound recruiting strategies to meet those requirements. This position is based in Falls Church, VA and operates with a high degree of autonomy as the Recruiter will be given the tools they need and latitude required to produce results. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for multiple disciplines including any of the following: cleared administrative support, intelligence analysis, IT/systems, and operations. Evening and weekend work may be required during surge periods to support new business efforts. Some travel may be required on occasion.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Quickly develop a thorough knowledge of the government clients and missions we support, PAE’s internal recruiting process, and the specific proposal efforts and statements of work

  • Read RFPs, work with capture team, operational team and others to hone position descriptions based on statements of work

  • Craft effective screening questions, and post requisitions

  • Manage requisitions and recruit for multiple proposal efforts simultaneously; handle approximately 30 – 40 requisitions at a time Manage and coordinate multiple recruitment activities simultaneously

  • Develop and execute effective and efficient recruitment and sourcing strategies

  • Source talent by utilizing Workday, job fairs, cleared job boards, postings, networking resources, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels to find top talent for each requisition

  • Screen talent to ensure candidates are:

  • Technically qualified, meeting all proposal requirements

  • Cultural fits

  • Vetted for their interest in the role (location, compensation, etc.)

  • Able and prepared to deploy on the required timeline and take information requirements seriously

  • Identify a qualified and diverse candidate pool from which a hiring decision can be made in an expedient and compliant manner

  • Identify key personnel for proposals by stated deadlines

  • Build rapport with candidates and potential candidates though timely and honest communications; Ensure candidates are “kept warm” throughout the proposal process

  • Collaborate with program management to determine more effective methods of sourcing and screening candidates

  • Utilize best practices from across the organization to enhance recruiting productivity and candidate experience

  • Determine appropriate recruiting strategies to maximize quality candidate throughput (job fairs, open houses, community outreach, etc.)

  • Source, network and actively build relationships to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to effectively meet hiring needs and support new business initiatives

  • Attend recruiting events and perform incumbent captures on customer sites

  • Adapt to changing business priorities with a focus on accountability, communication, and customer service

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Experience in lieu of education will be considered

  • Three or more years of full cycle recruiting experience

  • US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Poly required

  • Experience recruiting for SCA contracts

  • Customer focused and mission driven

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding analytical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities

  • Flexibility, able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Desired:

  • Previous experience managing multiple recruiting efforts for various projects or tasks is desired

  • Agency or search firm recruiting experience is desired
