PAE is seeking a Recruiter to support our Aviation and Technical Services business unit. This business unit provides a range of critical services for US and foreign governments on seven continents. The Recruiter will provide recruiting support to a number of programs within this business unit. The goal of our recruiting and deployment teams is to provide a world class recruiting and deployment experience. This position is responsible for posting, sourcing, and screening talent for a variety of programs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with good communications and time management skills. To be successful in this role, individuals must be motivated, able to thrive in volume, quick learners, and confident. This individual must strike a balance between high volume recruiting and providing a world class candidate experience.

Essential duties include:

  • Responsible for maintaining a robust talent pipeline of candidates in anticipation of expected vacancies across various programs; works with Recruiting Manager and Recruiters to determine monthly pipeline goals based on expected attrition.

  • Consults with hiring managers and recruiting team, crafts detailed job descriptions, determines effective screening questions, and posts requisitions

  • Sources talent by utilizing the ATS, external job boards, social media platforms, and referrals

  • Screens talent to ensure candidates are:

  • Technically qualified

  • Vetted for their interest in the role (location, compensation, etc.)

  • Able and prepared to deploy on the required timeline and take information requirements seriously

  • Follows key candidate conversations with planned communication templates and infographics to ensure candidates are well prepared to swiftly move through the deployment process

  • Collaborates with Recruiters to assist where needed, also periodically follows up with candidates in the talent pipeline to gauge their interest in employment

  • May recruit for proposal efforts in addition to funded requisitions

Performance Objectives:

  • Meet monthly pipeline goals set by the Recruiting Manager

  • Source and screen candidates from all external sources at least once a week

  • Maintain communications with passive candidates and build talent pool

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Must possess 0 to 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s; or 4+ years with an Associate’s degree

  • Prefer experience in the government contracting industry; experience in a recruiting coordinator role will be considered

  • Experience in a high volume recruiting environment, agency experience preferred

  • Expert Boolean searcher, who can go out and find passive talent for any job

  • Self-starter with a good level of business acumen

  • Confident and capable of respectfully pushing back when necessary

  • Motivated to excel, competitive in nature, can-not-fail attitude, does not confuse “effort” with “results”

  • Excellent sales skills, persuasive, and charismatic

  • Great organizer, on top of all issues and does not waste time presenting weak candidates

  • Solutions oriented and creative, out of the box thinker, identifies ways of working smartly

  • Proficient with Microsoft office Suite, including Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
