Jr. Analyst/General Clerk III

Conducts analysis in conjunction with Analysts and Senior Level Analysts and is responsible for making database and manual queries on the individuals identified as possible fugitive or criminal aliens; Analysis of immigration benefit cases, performing data entry, receiving/reviewing A-files, photocopying, boxing and mailing files, interfiling material, correcting and updating EARM and other ICE databases, maintaining statistics, preparing standard and certified mail, and tracking certified letters; Locates and scan alien file documents and assists with the transportation of alien files from other DHS offices to the FOSC location;


  • Bachelor's degree with one year of related experience or Associate's degree with two years of related experience or five years of related experience with no degree

  • Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs.

  • Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data

  • Ability to review A-files and perform detailed analytical and research support services.

  • Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting or applying immigration law is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
