Project Support Specialist I

General: This position will provide administrative, procurement, configuration management, and documentation support to the BEAMS, ADAMS, and EW teams within the ASAM Branch.


  • Performs simple and routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures.

  • Carries out recurring procedures independently.

  • Selects the guideline or reference which fits the specific case.

  • Conducts research using database and literature and reviews searches.

  • Assists and provides support in all activities to facilitate the project.

  • Experience/Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience performing stated or similar functions.

  • Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to use initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in using office automation equipment including personal computers, with experience in software application programs such as MSWord, Excel, Power Point and electronic mail systems required.

  • Must be flexible and team oriented.

Education Required:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and hold a Top Secret Clearance.

Work Conditions:

Conditions will vary. Most work is performed in enclosed buildings, but some outside work may be required. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees.
