Assistant Project Manager

PAE is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APJM) in Coraopolis, PA to manage all site personnel and provide supervision. APJM oversees all non-personal services necessary to perform benefit administration, document management and contact center support services. The APJM reports directly to the Project Manager and is responsible for the site which includes oversight of the administration/operations, facilities and administrative functions. The APJM supports the Project Manager in planning work assignments and reporting status of activities to the Program Manager. The APJM, as required, will be involved in hiring, staffing and training. In conjunction or on behalf of the Project Manager, the APJM meets and confers with the client regarding specific program activities, resolves problems, issues and conflicts that arise. In addition the APJM provides technical guidance and leadership to site employees.


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree; Seven (7) years of progressive supervisory experience may be substituted for a degree

  • Experience: Five (5) to Six (6) years of progressive supervisory experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.

  • Ability to successfully achieve and maintain favorable adjudication of client conducted background investigation.

  • Ability to travel to various sites within the continental United States if required
