PAE has an opportunity for a SR Systems Administrator to join our team on our Federal Government contract in Portsmouth, NH.
This position requires 8 years of systems administration experience. In addition, this role will support operation and maintenance of computing assets as well as other computing equipment such as workstations and small server systems.
Specific duties include operating system installation, configuration and maintenance as well as installation of supporting software and troubleshooting user and system issues.
Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:
Must successfully complete a comprehensive 10-year criminal and credit history background check.
Must successfully complete a drug screening.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Ability to communicate status and issues clearly across teams, management and with team members.
Windows Server 2008+ administration required.
Windows 7 Desktop Administration
Active Directory Administration
Hardware Setup – Desktop and Server
Experienced troubleshooting client/server connectivity issues from an application perspective.
Able to work in a team environment
Extensive experience in the following
Physical & Virtual Servers
MS Exchange & MS Server 2008 & 2012
Database Administration Experience
Desktop Imaging and Deployment
Linux System Administration Experience
.NET Software Development Experience
Telecommunication and Networking Experience
SharePoint Site Administration and Customization
Avaya Telephone systems is a plus
Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
8 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator or related experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience can be substituted.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
