CH53E Maintenance Administrator
Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. Proficient in performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping. Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry. Transmits and receives data, extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves. Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military. Performs administrative duties related to Naval aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing data base and systems analysis. Must have Knowledge of contents of the Aircraft Discrepancy Book (ADB) and current contents of the aircraft inspection, TD compliance, aircraft general, or electronic history files, NALCOMIS OMA AD HOC Report, Configuration Verification and Inventory of all components and assemblies installed on aircraft/equipment that have an AESR, ASR, EHR, MSR, SRC Card.
Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS. Performs aviation maintenance administration requirements in support of the activity’s assigned aircraft to include but not limited to the below skill requirements.
Navy/Marine Corps Maintenance admin (6046 MOS or AZ rating) preferably with CH-53D/E experience
6049 MOS (data analysis/system administrator) desirable
Must be extremely proficient with Optimized NALCOMIS (OOMA)
Must be familiar with Navy and Marine Corps maintenance concepts to include the publication COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2B
Must be familiar with Daily/Turnaround, Special/Conditional Inspections and their signoff requirements within OOMA
Must be able to obtain a CAC card.
