CTTR Cyber Security Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cyber Security Manager will oversee a team responsible for protecting the contract digital assets from cyber threats. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a Cybersecurity program that is Cyber Security Inspection (SCI) ready at all times

  • Monitor security operations.

  • Implement security policies, regulations, rules to ensure the organization is secure from cyber threats.

  • Protect the organization's computers, networks and data against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses or attacks by cyber-criminals.

  • Ensure secure networks, certified and trained cybersecurity workforce, physical/traditional security compliance, configuration management, quality assurance and all supporting policy, plans and procedures

  • Comply with all DoD Cybersecurity policy, instructions, directives as published to protect against those risks

  • Assist with the oversight of the department budget to support contract operations.

  • Ensure continuity of support during personnel changes and transitions.

  • Review business systems administration, resources, procedures, processes and methods to improve effectiveness.

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven (7) years’ directly relevant experience in supporting cyber security operation and maintenance services.

  • Extensive Experience with Navy cybersecurity procedures/processes

  • CSWF / Cyber IT certification

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • US Citizenship, a valid US or local driver's license and US passport.

  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to maintain Secret Clearance.

  • Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree; though additional experience may be considered in lieu of college degree.

HS diploma or GED required.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
