Project Manager

The Project Manager shall be the Contractor’s primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to this task order, and shall bear ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the requirements described herein are met. The Project Manager shall provide a SITREP on at least a weekly basis to the COR.

The Project Manager shall have:

  • Ten (10) years of experience working in Africa;

  • Twenty (20) years of experience in telecommunications engineering, technology and utility of the technology, cell communication, cellular radio, wireless communication, telecommunication and equipment to include cellular and wireless networks and satellite;

  • Ten (10) years of experience developing and delivering training modules to U.S. partner nations;

  • Ten (10) years of management in telecommunications/communications system network development, engineering and installation;

  • Demonstrated successful experience in providing technical recommendations for implementation of robust telecommunications/communication network systems;

  • Demonstrated fluency of English speaking and writing;

  • The Project Manager shall have previous technical experience working with the latest generation of Tactical Internet Protocol (IP)-based HF and VHF tactical communications equipment;

  • The Project Manager shall have the managerial skills necessary to manage day-to-day operations involving the procurement, delivery, and training of equipment;

  • Demonstrated prior professional experience requiring excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in a training environment; and

  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management yielding zero customer complaints.
