Document Coder/Scanner

Document Coder/Scanner: (Washington, D.C.)

  • Enters document data from various standardized source documents that either have been coded or that require the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources.

  • Document imaging-preparing, scanning and performing quality control on scanned images.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance to include an extensive background investigation.

  • Requires high school diploma and prior experience with computer database software.

  • Document imaging experience

  • Data entry and document coding experience

  • Must have a current Active Secret Clearance

  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to construct database searches and queries

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prefer college experience

  • Litigation Support experience
